Hey Sulaiman,

Take a breather. Remember you’ve come so far.

This is just a point in the journey and there’s so much more to come.

And while there’s so much more to come, remember the points along the road that brought you here.

Look back 1 year, 2 years, and look at the growth you’ve went through.

It’s easy to look ahead at the mountain in front of you and feel frustrated you’re not a the peak. But that’s because you’re forgetting to look behind at how far you’ve climbed.

Hey Sulaiman,

Never feel guilty about spending time with the people you love. Cherish the people that make you feel warm inside.

Hold them tight when you see them.

Call them often when you don’t.

Prioritize the energy-givers in your life.

Remove the energy-siphoners.

Go on long walks. Share gifts. Spend lots of time in cafe’s.

Spend lots of late nights talking and asking questions.

There will always be more early mornings.

Always strive to be the best you can be.

Maximize your potential.

Do the hard things even when you don’t feel like it.

Keep pushing yourself and the others around you.

If it makes you feel uncomfortable, that’s a signal that you should probably pursue it.

Choose the less travelled path.

Never stop moving.

Take direction, aim, and fire.

Choose what excites you. Take risks.

Forget the old world of prestige, titles, and reputation.

Pick the exciting opportunities that scare you.

Taking risks is what has brought you here so do not stop. You will fail along the way, but that’s just part of the fun. The real failure is not taking risks altogether.
